About This Project

Kitchen remodel in 2013 and in 2016 updated to sell. This is a 1957 home in South Bellevue. The homeowner wanted a larger family room and updated look. During our first meeting I pulled back the carpeting and discovered that most of the upstairs had original wood flooring and in EXCELLENT condition. It was red oak with an orange hue. The demolition team removed a section of old linoleum and the kitchen tile. We brought in new flooring, then we feathered into the original flooring. The next step was to sand off the old finish. We had a beautiful fresh canvas and applied a new dark stain to the wood floor. The homeowner was thrilled. You could not tell where the new and old boards met. The original owners couldn’t even tell!

In 2016 the homeowner prepared to sell the house. The basement was concrete and the stair carpeting needed to be replaced. We brought in a color similar to what was in the upstairs bedrooms – a nice neutral tone. We carpted the stairs, the lonog hallway, and the large bonus room.  The home also needed a new master bathroom, tile flooring, paint in the entire house both upstiars and down.
